My name is Charles Holmes, also known as Heru The Rebel, an audio producer, songwriter, and sound designer based in Indiana. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Production at Full Sail University, where I continue developing both the technical and creative skills needed to grow within the audio industry. Sound has always been more than music to me. It has become a way to tell stories, create emotion, and connect people through creativity and experience.

 

As Heru The Rebel, I focus on creating original music, immersive sound design, and emotionally driven audio experiences. My work includes songwriting, vocal recording, mixing, game audio implementation, and experimental sound creation using tools such as Logic Pro, Pro Tools, and Wwise. I enjoy blending soulful, atmospheric, and cinematic elements into my projects while continuing to push myself creatively with every new idea.

 

Alongside music production, I have also worked on game audio and sound design projects, including creating and implementing sounds for gameplay and cinematic scenes. These experiences have helped me strengthen my understanding of how sound shapes emotion, storytelling, and immersion across different forms of media.

 

I am constantly learning, experimenting, and refining my craft while building a portfolio that reflects both creativity and technical growth. My goal is to collaborate with artists, developers, filmmakers, and creators who value originality, passion, and meaningful sound.
